The Consumer Credit (Enforcement, Default and Termination Notices) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 have been laid before Parliament and published on legislation.gov.uk, with an accompanying Explanatory Memorandum. The purpose of the Regulations is to amend the Consumer Credit (Enforcement, Default and Termination Notices) Regulations 1983 (S.I. 1983/1561 that govern the prescribed language in and form of Enforcement, Default and Termination Notices. The instrument updates the content of these notices and aims to make them less intimidating and easier to understand. It comes into force on 2 December 2020.
