Brexit Bulletin: UK and EU announce agreement in principle on the Withdrawal Agreement

On 14 November 2018, the UK government and the European Commission announced agreement in principle on the legal terms of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. Following ongoing talks, the legal text of the Withdrawal Agreement has now been agreed at negotiator level with both the UK government and European Commission urging its endorsement. A copy of the draft Withdrawal Agreement has been published, along with an outline of the political declaration on the framework for the future EU-UK relationship.
