BoE launches industry review of CHAPS enhanced ISO 20022 messages

The Bank of England (BoE) has launched an industry review on the migration of CHAPS to enhanced ISO 20022 messages. The industry review sets out the BoE’s latest view on the CHAPS ISO 20022 migration approach, and seeks feedback on:
• the near-final enhanced ISO 20022 message schema, ahead of publication of the final version in September 2020; and
• the BoE’s work so far to progress the policy objectives that will be delivered via ISO 20022 messaging, such as Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) and Purpose Codes.
Feedback is sought by 31 July 2020.
