The Bank of England (BoE) has published a speech by Alex Brazier, its executive director for financial stability and risk, covering reforms to the financial system since 2008, the Bank’s preparations for Brexit, climate change stress tests, and the currently underway review into aligning redemption terms for open-ended funds. Mr Brazier said that it was a priority to ensure that UK banks could continue to lend whatever the conditions post-Brexit, and that it was also a priority to ensure that UK consumers and businesses using financial services from EU companies could continue to draw on them after Brexit.
