A new chapter for financial services

The Chancellor gave a speech at Mansion House setting out a new chapter for financial services.

The speech was accompanied by publication of a policy document.
The policy paper sets out the government’s future vision for the financial services sector and is shaped around four key themes:

•  An open and global financial hub;
•  A sector at the forefront of technology and innovation;
•  A world leader in green finance; and
•  A competitive marketplace promoting effective use of capital.
