Our Vision:
is to be the credible, valued and trusted representative of medium to small consumer finance organisations and businesses.

Our Mission:
is to represent the interests of all our members to both UK and European Government Regulators. We strive to protect and improve the environment in which we all work.

For nearly 120 years CCTA has helped to shape the credit industry, working with policy makers and regulators at the centre of government, ensuring that the voice of our members is heard and understood, on a wide landscape of industry issues.

Legislation and Regulation has substantially increased over the last few years, and, true to our reputation, we have maintained a strong presence on all relevant government committees and working groups, pushing for ‘better’ and ‘less’ regulation. Our ultimate aim is to reduce both the cost and the burden new law can place on our industry and consumers. In short, we are here to fight your corner.

CCTA Council

Ensuring that new legislation works in the real world, is one of the most important considerations we have as a trade association. In order to do this, CCTA is governed by a council, made up of representatives from the membership, which meets bi-monthly to discuss the development of the Association, and the all important implications of our lobbying activity.
