The CCTA was established in 1891, and for upwards of 100 years, we have played a major role in the continued success of the credit industry.
We pride ourselves on having a strongly independent voice, which we are more than happy to use on behalf of our members. Our Reputation for lobbying government, and our involvement with legislation changes in both the UK and the EU, is well known and respected.
We have a wealth of experience, combined with the ‘down-to-earth’ commonsense that comes from years in the industry. We are that rare mix of old and new that does not stand still, but embraces the best of past and present so that we can serve our members as well as they deserve.
Our primary concern is ensuring regulatory reforms that look fine on paper, actually work in the real world. To that end, we are governed by a council, made up of representatives from our membership. We are your CCTA, and we work with you and the future in mind.
